SOIL

The ingredients I use in my soil mixtures are a result of many years of trying various components. I have selected only the best to use as soil for my bonsai trees and now I am offering them to you. All of my soil sizes are double screened at a minimum. I supply my soil to leading Bonsai & Garden Nurseries and I also supply various Bonsai clubs with their soil needs. 26 tons this year alone!!!! All those customers can't be wrong.

Fine is a good mixture for most size trees. I use it mainly on my smaller trees and Tropicals. Consists of 1:1:1 coarse sand, calcined clay, bark. Approximately 1/8".

Medium is what I use on most of my trees. Some of my customers like to use this size soil on their mid-size to large bonsai. It helps develop a wonderfully fibrous root mass. Consists of 1:1:1 haydite, calcined clay, bark. Approximately 3/16".

Coarse is the most aggressive soil we offer.  When you are looking for fast growth of younger trees, this works great! When you need a larger particle soil that is the fastest draining , this is the answer. Consists of 2 parts haydite, 1 part calcined clay, 1 part bark. Approximate size 3/16"
